Afram Cinema builds and categorizes this collection constantly so, if you don't see what you're looking for, we're probably already adding it -- e-mail us anyway at posts@theOffice.net and give us the details! We'll find it for you or suggest a way to obtain it on your own. Afram Cinema is also linking to other resourceful sites all over the 'Net for serious film buffs. Help us out here! Keep us informed! Make this site your weekly
video guide and speak-out forum. Most movies listed are available
for purchase or weekly rental. |
Want to talk about a movie? Or just join in a conversation? Click here to enter the Afram Cinema Chat Room. It's brand new so there may not be too many people in there yet. Just let your friends know so you can talk about movies or whatever(...without huge phone bills!) The criteria for being included in the Afram Cinema collection is that the film either (1) has an African-American or African-descended director or producer, (2) has an African-American or African-descended lead or main supporting actor or actress, (3) focuses on an issue within the African diaspora, (4) has a prominent actor or actress in it "before they were famous", or (5) has great significance either culturally or politically to the Black community in the U.S. and/or abroad. |
